Program Description
With most firms experiencing partner retirements, managers are being asked to step up more than ever before. Your workforce has much to offer; do not let their soft-skill deficiencies hold them back. This program will help your managers and supervisors develop the soft skills they need to succeed. The subjects covered in this training program include:

• How CPA Firms Work
• Learning to Act Like a Leader
• Managing Conflict and Developing Trust
• Enhancing Your Interpersonal Skills
• Delegating Effectively
• Time Management & Goal Setting
• Managing Performance


Program Structure
This virtual program begins with 2 days of consecutive training followed by 5 monthly sessions. During each session we will discuss challenges and successes, learn material for the next concept and agree on a new assignment to facilitate real learning and progress. Participants will be asked to identify an in-firm coach that will support them through the program. Program participants will be tasked with completing their assignments and reporting on progress by a specific date. In-firm coaches will receive regular updates on the progress of their participant in the program.

Level of Knowledge: Basic
Prerequisite: Up-and-coming managers and supervisors
Advanced Preparation: Participants will be required to fill out an OAD assessment in advance of the program kickoff. Links for participation will be supplied to all participants at least two weeks in advance of the training.

This program will offer participants approximately 16.5 hours of CPE credit in communications, marketing, and personal development.


Cancellation/Refund Policy
The fees for this program are refundable up to a week before the program begins. Once the program has begun, the program fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. Program registration is transferable to another party if it’s done before the program begins.
